Teaching at camps

Our camps will have both elements of fun and teaching because we want kids to learn while having fun. Doing activities and games While teaching them these key concepts will help them retain the information better. We will be doing specific activities and games that will teach them about 9 important characteristic traits. We believe that these 9 character traits will help shape children into the leaders that our communities need, as well as, give them the tools they need to process past hurts and trauma.

The 9 traits: Identity, Self- control, Goodness, Trustworthy, Forgiveness, Care, Friendship, Hope/Joy, Sharing

Activites at camps

Each of the activities at our camp focus on building skills such as: logical reasoning, communication, teamwork, collaboration, self-understanding, critical thinking, and cognitive functioning. Examples of our activities: treasure hunts, obstacle races, relay races, art crafts, sports, STEM challenges, mental puzzles, riddles, team challenges, and many more.

Through these activities we hope to help children by giving them these long lasting tools as skills in their lives. All of these simple activities work together to support a child's mental, emotional, and physical health.
